Bayern are preparing a new bid for Diaz after having their initial offer, believed to be around €67.5 million (£59m/$79m), rejected by the Premier League champions, according to Fabrizio Romano. Diaz, 28, remains Bayern’s top target, with personal terms reportedly already agreed. Meanwhile, Bayern have also initiated contact with Lyon for Belgian winger Malick Fofana as a potential alternative should negotiations with Liverpool break down.
