WHAT HAPPENED?
As evidenced by their summer acquisitions of Chido Obi Martin and Sekou Kone, United have been heavily concentrating on youth recruitment since INEOS' takeover. As seen with Leny Yoro and Ayden Heaven this season, Red Devils have been signing young players with a view to making an impact on Ruben Amorim's squad, as well as adding to their pool of talent in the youth academy.

As such, has reported that 17-year-old midfielder Ugresic of Partizan Belgrade has been recognised by United's scouts as an eventual prospect deserving further consideration. Since he made his first appearance in the Serbian Super League in early April, Amorim's side's scouts reportedly went to watch him live in recent weeks, which was confirmed by his agent.

WHAT NEXT FOR MAN UTD?
The Red Devils are unlikely to make Ugresic's signing this summer as they believe he is more of a prospect for the future. However, they will continue to scout the Serbian through next season.
